I sent my first video for feedback on Facebook on February the 24th. Here is the following message:

Hi everyone, I am doing a digital advocacy story assignment for one of my classes. I need feedback from all of you about this video. Any comments will be appreciated. For example, is this video helpful? Does the music go with the story? Is the message clear? Do I need to add more pictures or add more information? Any ideas will help me a lot, you wouldn’t hurt my feelings. The main purpose of this video is to promote library children programming and for parents to know the benefit of those programs. Thank you in advance,

Parents from Facebook:
"You also did a good job of linking the benefit to bringing the kids out to the library."
"The information is perfect. The music and images blend well. Some of the slides didn't transition well (in my opinion). I'll have to watch again to be more specific. Sentences cut off from one slide to the next kind of lost me"
"Didn't like the background for slides 6 and 9, different color or pics will do. Slides 17 and 19 are not very clear. Overall very informative and engaging"

LM Cohort Students from Facebook:
"Your use of PowToon gives a youthful, fun flair to your presentation--very cool! The only thing I would point out are a few minor grammatical errors. Your first question "Do you know..." ends with a period instead of a question mark. The quotation "children will be expose [d]" I think needs a "d" added. At the end slide you could add a "s" to the word "picture". Good job Elena."

"As someone who has used PowToon, let me say, great job! I know it can be a lot of work just to create one slide! What was your meme? I may have missed it or it may not have been as obvious as some of our other classmates' memes. Mine needs work, I know. Here's an idea: Since you're talking about Programs, Activities, and Technology, why don't you say "Libraries PAT Children" P=Programs, A=Activities, and T=Technology. Just a thought. Minor grammar errors:
-"Did you know that..."(:02) / (:45)
-"Children will be exposed..."(:25)
- "The public library introduces arts and crafts to children, exposing them to hands-on activities which allow them to use their imagination" (:59)
- "...art education can benefit students' education..." (1:17)
- Maybe change "They" to "The Library" so it's clear who "they" are (1:21)
- Poetry contests (1:44)
- Who are you quoting in (1:52) and (2:07)?
- "All pictures are..." (2:38)
Great work, though, Elena. With minor changes, you'll do splendidly."
"Hey Elena! I loved that you used PowToon. It looked so great. The music accompanied the video well. The only suggestion I would give is to check the grammer. I would also change the "Do you know" to "Did you know" but that is just me. It also sounds good the way you have it already. Overall great presentation!"
"I love the music, and the use of Powtoons is great. I would second Edgar's comments about the grammar and usage. With those minor textual changes, you'll have a really amazing video! Very nice work."

"Great animation and a wealth of information. Kudos to public libraries!"
"I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to get this feedback to you. I hope I haven't
added to your stress.
I love the video! It's informative and fun to watch. It contains lots of good
info in an adorable package. Below are a few things you may want to consider:
Whenever you use a quote, you may want to include the source at the end. Even
if it's in smaller font at the very bottom. I always want to know where that
info is coming from. I like your references at the end, but I think including
the source with the quote gives it more weight.
At the 25 second mark: the sentence should read--Children will be exposed to
reading before entering preschool.
At the 44 second mark: the sentence should have a question mark.
At the 54 second mark: What if you re-worked that sentence to read--The public
library introduces children to arts and crafts exposing them to hands-on
activities and encouraging them to use their imagination.
The picture you included of your kids is super cute! They look just like you ;)
At the very end where you list your name it should read--All pictures (plural
instead of singular).
That's all my friend. Excellent work! Have a great weekend."

Parents from Survey Monkey

Q1: How did you like the video?
The video was great; I liked the images and powerful quotes that you used.
Q2: Did the video provide good information about children's programing? Please explain.
Yes it did. I was unaware of all the services a library offers.
Q3: What services found in the video will you use to target parents?
As a teacher I would focus on the poetry contest. I took note on the quote that mentions reading poetry out loud.
Q4: Does the video provide adequate information about children services? If so what services would you use?
Yes the video does provide adequate information about children services. I would take advantage of the technology services.
Q5: What did you not like about the video?
The only suggestion I have is to maybe slow down the first and second slide, they seem to be a little too fast when they transition over to next one.
